The CHRYSALIS floor lamp designed in 2011 by Marcel Wanders for FLOS, comprises of an internal white steel structure, sprayed with a unique “cocoon” resin, which is then protected with a transparent sprayed on coating. A frieze in silk-screen printed glass, projects an upward light pattern onto the ceiling. The dual switch on/off dimmer switch on the power cable controls the dimmable fluorescent tube in the main body, and a top light source used to project the decorative frieze.
